Clothes Moth’s wing span is about 5/8 inch and their front wings have no dark markings on their wings.  Clothes moths are a solid gold color throughout their wings and body with a slightly orange color of hair on their head. Female cloth moths lay an average of 40 to 50 eggs during a 2 to 3 week period and die once they’ve completed the egg-laying process. Male cloth moths will live longer than the females and continue to mate during the remainder of their lives. The eggs will hatch within 3 to 10 days period during warm weather.

Typically our customers find them living in their clothes closets.  The natural fiber in closets is a huge draw for the cloth moths.  They can be found in various areas throughout your home. They tend to go after your cloths and can do some pretty good damage to your favorite sweater.
