Bat Removal Services

Most customers have the same feelings about bats, they love them around the home, but don’t want them living in their homes.

Why should you evict bats?

There is a good reason why bats aren’t wanted in the home. The biggest concern is rabies. Rabies is transmitted when an infected bat bites or scratches a person’s skin. Studies have shown that most bats do not carry the rabies virus, but unfortunately you can’t tell by just looking at the bat. Bats can also carry another disease known as Histoplasmosis, which is a respiratory disease caused by a fungal spores found in bat droppings.

Other concerns with bat colonies in the home include, loud noises and squealing at night, persistent odors and stains on outside/inside walls, attics, and ceilings. Another major concern is bat droppings in the attic, if bat droppings are noticed, cleaning and sanitation are usually suggested or required.

There is a bat flying around in my home!

If you have seen a bat in the home, the best thing to do is trap it in an isolated room or area, put a towel under the door and call Advanced Wildlife Control to come and remove your bat.

I heard noises in the wall, what should I do?

Not all noises or loud squealing in your home are from bats, however if you are hearing sounds in your attic you can schedule an appointment and we will determine what is making the sounds, where they are entering your home, and how we will rid you of that animal and seal that entry point(s).
